Mathias Coppens's A Flourishing Flower Flight Fantasy (2022) was originally commissioned by deCHORALE for their deCHORALE @ theMOVIES concert series. This beautiful piece for orchestra, choir and soprano solo was deemed to be too good to be performed on a single occasion and the idea for this arrangement was born. All vocal parts are included as ossias elsewhere in the concert band and this piece can be performed with and without choir and/or solo soprano.
